Hello I'm Klaasjan from holland and I want a discussion about rowing as a extreme sport.

I think it is. I mean not the rowing you see on tv, but the rowing in original boats (most life boats). I you don't no what it is watch the movie in the link.

This is the heaviest rowing race in Holland; 36 kilometers, only 130 boats. This year 2011 it was with Bft 6 (Almost storm).

Although I don't really know that much about rowing I would say in this case it would be an extreme sport as the conditions and environment could be very unpredictable.
